About Grace Majer
Writing has always been a dream for Grace. From a young age, she loved to create and tell stories to the dutiful audience of her mother. Inspired by the books that she read, Grace knew that someday she would leave her mark in the writing world with her own novels.
Grace has more than just a love for reading and writing. It is her passion, one that she loves to share with the next generation. To do this, Grace studied English Education and began working as an English Teacher after her 2017 graduation. She also went on to earn her Master of Arts in 2020. After having her son in 2022, Grace left the classroom to stay home with him but continues to mold students through one-on-one tutoring lessons in reading and writing.
It is her hope that the stories she writes inspires her students, and others, to pursue their dreams.

Kerrigan Walsh has been bullied most of her life. As long as she can remember, she's been alone. No one, including her teachers, has taken the time to get to know her. The few times she has opened herself up to others have ended badly. How long can someone live thinking they're not good enough?
Lacey Zhao-Gordon has it all. The perfect family, close friends, and opportunities to achieve the future she wants. The one thing she doesn't have? The perfect body. She's struggled with her weight since childhood, which has been a point of contention between her mother, her friends, and herself. When everyone seems to want there to be less of her, are drastic actions the only way to please them?
Brielle Vega's only goal is to make it through high school without drama. She's friendly with everyone, but friends with no one. Life is easier when she doesn't have to take sides and she can remain anonymous. But in choosing to befriend no one, is she hurting those who could use a friend?
Told from the perspectives of the bully, bystander, and victim, "You Could Have Stopped This" explores the dire consequences our words and actions have on those around us.
